Early Head Start

Early Head Start (EHS) programs serve infants and toddlers under the age of 3, and pregnant women. EHS programs provide intensive comprehensive child development and family support services to low-income infants and toddlers and their families, and to pregnant women and their families.

FSCJ CCAMPIS

The Child Care Access Means Parents In School (CCAMPIS) grant is a federal program of the U.S. Department of Education that assists student parents with the cost of keeping their children enrolled in quality, accredited and conveniently located child care services. Our program was created to help support your children’s development while you complete your academic pursuit. Full- or part-time students may be eligible for the CCAMPIS grant to help cover the cost of childcare at a local child care facility.

Navy Reserve

The Navy Home Community Care (HCC) program provides child care for members of the Navy Reserve Force assigned to specific installations during drill weekends. Care is provided in high quality family child care homes. Fee assistance will be provided to eligible Reservists to offset the cost of up to 24 hours of child care per month on scheduled drill weekends.

Quarterly Workshop

Join quarterly workshops for families focusing on childhood development, behavior challenges, potty training, and interactive activities. Field trips promote curiosity and learning outside classrooms. Virtual and in-person workshops cater to diverse needs. Interactive experiences like cooking and gardening strengthen family bonds. The workshops aim to support nurturing happy, healthy children through growth, learning, and discovery.

Social Emotional

Social and emotional development begins early in life. This is when children start to understand who they are, what they are feeling and what to expect when interacting with others. It's when they learn how to form and sustain positive relationships; experience, manage and express emotions.

Family Involvement

Family involvement during the earliest years of a child’s life is one of the most powerful predictors of a child’s development. The positive outcomes of engaged parents are powerful: increased support for children’s learning at home, empowered parents, and improved family well-being. Children see benefits like improved cognitive development and academic performance, better social-emotional development, and improved health.
